- Indiana Fever veteran forward Temi Fagbenle participated in practice on Tuesday after suffering a left foot injury on May 28 in a loss to the LA Sparks. She has been ramping up over the last few weeks, getting shots up before games, but now she's getting closer to a return.
She is day-to-day, but could soon as return as Thursday at Seattle if the foot responds well.
She quickly got on the same page and wavelength with Caitlin Clark, produced and moved into the starting lineup over NaLyssa Smith before this injury has kept her out for a month.

She was released to play before the last game. Don't know why she wasn't pkaying. Even limited minutes would have made the difference!!

Her highlight reel from LA is still one of my favorites from the season so far...glad you're back.
I feel bad that Celeste Taylor was waived. Feel like she wasnt given much of an opportunity and still feel she would be better that Wheeler, but this team needed Dantas back on this roster.....had to make room.
Hopefully Temi is back soon and we can contend defensively.
After giving it some thought. Taylor is lucky to be out from the Sides dumpster fire. Celeste will be a star in this league. Everyware she's played she's excelled.

@@Joaquin-227 What "dumpster fire?" You mean when the team didn't get hardly any practices so the WNBA could kick-start the season and keep the momentum rolling from the March Madness and have the Fever vs. every top team constantly on national TV? 🤔
What happened after that? Oh yeah, you totally left out that after finally getting rest and practices they won four in a row and had the number one offensive rating.
You and I have no idea if Celeste will be a star or not, and excelling in high school and college only guarantees overseas play, and obviously the GM/front office and coaching staff didn't think Taylor was Fever ready because she only played 16 minutes total this season and didn't stand out.

Can’t wait for Temi to come back! She runs the floor with the same pace as CC and was the only one that understood that rhythm in the earlier games. She also just plays with so much energy-which is such a fun style of play.

She would have been nice to have against Chicago’s 2 bigs. I think she would have gotten down the floor in transition quicker than them. It will be interesting to see her back at full strength with the team playing better to see how she will benefit them

Temi and CC next Dynamic Duo. They have a great connection. They both like a fast pace and similar game play. They both anticipate each other on another level. I can't wait to see them cook again.

I'm not really sure Temi wants to come back and play with this team. If the team isn't going anywhere, why does she want to take a chance on getting hurt again. Especially if she's not with the team next year, it's all about trade value.
